Bio
Montreal’s Danny Lütz is a song writer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and audio engineer who is guilty of liking a well written pop song. Through blending past and present styles of music and referencing his influences without simply mimicking, Danny has found his own sound.
Before locking down to self-produce his first full length album, Danny spent a few years impressing Montreal crowds with his one man shows. Using Ableton Live to build songs from the ground up using lots of synths, samplers and guitars, Danny executed sets that spanned from classic rock to electro house, sometimes within the same song!
Danny won the Voir newspaper’s music competition which led to the release of his single “Cold Bed” on the fourth volume of the trendy best-selling downtempo compilation “Café Méliès”. Danny also finished in the top 10 of Rogers Redpipe contest in 2008 with a song from his self produced EP. His current full length album “Since a while” has just been completed and is scheduled for release in late 2012.
Danny Lutz is that rare combination. A truly cool singer. A truly cool songwriter
